What is this part ?? Causing car to stall and not start

Guys need help identifying this part in order to replace it. It is causing my 88 vert to stall, and not start. Jiggle the cable and voilą car is able to start... It is located near the strut bar with a cable running to the main fuse box.

an electrical plug?

you won't find it anywhere though, aside from part of the main battery harness. you can however replace it with any generic 8 gauge electrical plug that you might be able to find locally at an auto parts store or industrial hardware store.

short of that, you could always buy a copper crimp at home depot and just make it a solid connection and heat shrink over it. in 12 years working on these cars, i think that plug has only show usefulness one time, it however has caused issues more times than that.

Resembles the starter signal wire.

Won't cause the car to stall, but will cause the car to not start :]

its the connector that feeds battery power to the fuse block on the LF strut tower, pretty much powers the whole car.
