what numbers have to match on 87 na gxl ecu

i think the ecu is having problems, so i have a ecu out of 87na gxl should there be a problem switching them? i herd that the numbers have to match. on these two it is 1 number of on the big number located on the out side of the box. what numbers should i be looking to match? or does it matter?

327 or 326 as long as the date is an S4 manufactured date then the ECU will correspond.
