What motor mounts to go with?

I have searched on it but have not really found a good conclusion. So all I want to know is what is the best motor mount to go with? I've came across the Banzai Racing FC Polyurethane Motor Mounts which I am not to sure about and the AWR Racing Polyurethane Motor Mounts which look fancy but again not to sure about then there is the mazda competition motor mounts which seem to be promising but are they stiff enough.

Mazda Competition Hard rubber mounts. Poly mounts are rough. Go with poly if you want to vibrate your car apart, or you're putting together a Racecar. If it's street driven definately go with Mazda Comp. I reccomend the Mazda Comp trans mounts as well.

I had Polyurethane mounts for a while, they drove me nuts.

I had the mazda comp units in my 90 TII. Loved em. When I rebuild the motor beginning of next year in my n/a I'm gonna get another set.

Yes, but its not unbearable. If your stock mounts are in great condition you would barely notice the difference. My stock ones were shot so it was a night and day experience.

Thanks ForsakenRX7. I was leaning toward the mazda comp. mounts then I came across these. They look fancy and I was wondering if they where any good. Or if any one was using them.

Those are the best poly mounts on the market. The banzai design can be considered solid mounts.

I'll be putting the AWR mounts in my car this winter.

I've run cars with stock, solid and poly mounts. Honestly, solid or stiff poly mounts aren't bad at all. These aren't piston engines that try to tear themselves apart, but smooth rotary engines.

I wouldn't comment if I didn't.

I wish the same could be said for some of the above users.

If you want to pay the money then get the AWR mounts. I personally prefer Himni-Racing(or the knock offs) Solid Aluminum Mounts along with the trans mounts as well. You will get more vibration but the car will be stiff and i Personally love it.

I have used solid mounts quite a bit as well. I would not recommend getting solid transmission mounts. Almost all of the noise transmitted to the passenger compartments come from soild transmission mounts, it becomes quite loud. As well, any flexing of the chassis between the engine and the transmission has to become absorbed by the transmission/engine with solid mounts on both the trans and the engine. On really hard launches, this can cause the tranny case to crack.

Thanks scathcart they are the one's I want to get but I did fail to mention that this is my daily driver so would be a problem with the AWR mounts?

Probably the best.
All of the other mount designs place either a single bolt in complete tension of the engine torque, or the organic material (rubber).
The AWR mounts loads the bolts in double shear. It would be the hardest to break, by far.

If you only change the engine mounts, you won't notice much change at all in chassis vibration.
