What model do I have??(Ive searched)
Well I ran a search and checked out but each thread gave different variations so id like to get it straight. I have an NA 87. I have no p/s, windows, locks. I do have a sunroof. I dont have cruise control. um I do have power side mirrors and a back seat (not anymore
) The car has 14" phone dial wheels(4 lug). Non adj. suspension. um cloth seats. To my understanding the model trims available for the S4's were GXL as the base, an NA luxury(GTU?) and sport model and the T2 model. Do you guys have any idea on my trim?? If its a GXL id have an LSD right? (its 5 speed) Ive had my car for 2 months now and think I should know this basic stuff when asked lol.

You got that backwards. A base is just a bse with no markings at all from 86-87. Bases are distinguished by 4 lug rims.
The GXL was the luxury NA model...power everything including suspension. They were all 5 lug.
As stated above, you have a base w/sunroof and backseat. Most bases had sunroofs and most had power mirrors, adn not much else. A very few bases were made, mainly in 86 and early 87, with no sunroof, manual mirrors, no bins OR seats in teh back, no P/S or anything. Those are the super lightweight FC model, lighter than a GTUs or any other model. If you wanted to make a racecar, that'd be the one to get.

(in 86 your model would have been the Luxury)

BTW, an LSD has a yellow metal tag on the fill plug which reads "LSD". Well, it's supposed to have it, anyway. You can see some of the yellow on the plug in this picture:

no its not that. When I did spin the tires on dry pavement the car launched very well. It didnt lean to one side at all which was very different from my 240. In the rain it seemed to push forward very evenly. As far as me being not able to tell, it seems that the rear wheel steer gives enough interference at the limit so its hard to tell.
