Anyone have any clue as to what type of turbo this is? also it seems that theres a crack on the portion where it meats the manifold. ( in the last pic)

Tje,
You notice how everyone with T2's swaps out the stock TID for a 3"er? Well, this 3"er tapers down to 2.5" to meet the stock compressor housing side. With this compressor, it (appears) to be a full 3". Which do you think would flow better, 3"=>3", or 3"=>2.5"?
There's the answer

i believe i do.. rtek 1.7, walbro fuel pump, 720's in secondary, and normal performance mods turboback, intake, making a 3" TID once the engine gets rebuilt.

It is a T04B with H3 compressor wheel. If you put it on the car the boost will creep till your engine pops so fair warning with the stock dinky little wastegate port. Good compressor wheel for up to 14-15 psi. about at 14 it stops making power with the stock "clipped" turbine wheel. It will run out of steam at around 12 or so with the stock turbine wheel unclipped which will be right at 300 RWHP. The inducer on that wheel is around 58mm. That compressor wheel and an 0 trim turbine wheel upgrade will do 350 at around 15 psi, and the response is great.

Naaa, not really the man, but thanks for flattering me.
You need atleast a 30mm port to keep the boost down reliably. If you don't perform major surgery to the wastegate, it will not work properly. I favor the S4 over the S5 after we get done with the wastegate, but not until then!
