What kind of plastic?
The dash hood, black plastic but what kind? The other day I had the wiper module out to replace one of the relays, of course the mounting posts have been cracked for awhile, this is all it took to finally have them break all together.
Time to fix them up, I've tried epoxy, but that didn't stick, I've tried methalene chloride, no good either. I'm about to try Devcon Plastic weld, but thought that it was time to ask.
Ideas?

The black hard plastics (like the gauge surround or S4 radio surround) are/is ABS
You can repair it with Black ABS cement found in the plumbing section of your local hardware store.

Since these posts are hidden from view, I take it that the regular yellow ABS cement will work?

I've had good luck with Bondo Marine Epoxy stick.
It's a putty type with good surface bond strength, and you can form it to fix just about anything.
Every single screw post in my dash cowl is reinforced with that stuff.
