If its the GXL thats sweet. Its got 4 pitson front brakes. Cruise control. Power Steering. and some other stuff. I got one great car.

GXL and GTU are different thow.. and 1990 would be GTUs, eh?
There is such a thing as a Mazda GLX thow... and it's not a rex...

Can't remember, was the GX the same as the GXL just canadian?

Only in 88. The 89-90 GTU model was the base strippy model.

No the GX was the same as the US 86-87.5 Luxury/87.5-88 SE/89-90 GTU. Basiclly a stripped model with only a few options, but not sporty or really Luxury.

The "GLX" is a typo that has carried over to a lot of insurance companies.
I dunno where it started, but a lot of insurance companies have this model designation...although it's totally WRONG.
"GXL" is the correct desgination from Mazda.
