What have you guys done to move the windshield washer bottle from underneath the headlight? I need to run some plumbing down there for some cold air to the filter

Go ta a junkyard... find a washer bottle from another car that will fit where you want to put it and run new lines... you can use the pump in the new bottle, , but you'll have to rig up a harness to go from the stock connector to the ne bottle

There's plenty of room on the opposite side of the engine bay where the headlight washer bottle goes. There's even a hole for the filler neck. Either a bottle from another car or a generic aftermarket one could be fitted there. The original bottle might even work.

Heres what I was about to do when my car was still N/A. You have 2 options, both of which are fairly easy and will look factory. Option 1:
Buy a headlight washer resavoir bottle from one of our Canadian forum members. Alot (if not all?? ) FCs up there got that option. Then you can just bolt it in , fill that up with your washer fluid, and extend the wiring to that side of the engine bay, and you are done.
Option2:
86-87 FCs came with the coolant overflow bottle on the drivers side inner fender. After that, the bottle was located up front , beside the hood latch. Depending on which one you already have, buy the other bottle, mount it up and use that for your washer fluid resavoir. Youll just need to drill a small hole to mount the washer motor, and there ya go.

Take it out, and don't drive the car in the rain?? Okay, option 1 or 2 then.

Thanks everyone for their input. Although I appreciate all the "ditch the bottle" advice, as long as this car is my all season daily driver - a windshield washer bottle is still a must.
Rxmfn7 - thanks for that info. I really like the Canadian headlight idea.
Now...who has a pic of a canadian headlight bottle mounted for me???
thanks,
