what happens when low impedence injectors are put in wrong car?

Lol. Some dude had his injectors rebuilt @ nopi and he said he paid 500$ for rebuilt 750s or something?! Thats more than the are worth new.

alright i looked today i have no resistor box that i can find behind the p/s headlight i have 88 convertible,I looked on mazdatrix and they list 3 different injectors for the 86-92Non-turbo 86-87 1/2 13-2500-N326
87 1/2-88 13-2500-N327
89-92 13-2500-N350
Turbo 86-87 1/2 13-2500-N318
87 1/2-88 13-2500-N345
89-92 13-2500-N370

so whats the deal with this i want to put TII 550 injectors in my 88 but dont want to fry nothing what year do the injectors have to be from off a TII and what color?Thanks,Dave

You shouldn't have the resistor pack, its on early 87s.

Oh and I think the injectors are toast already, been like 2 weeks maybe.

im not the one with the wrong injectors in the car im trying to find out what year i need to get TII injectors from to put in my car like i posted before they list 3 different ones for the 2nd gen???

I know, my friend is the one with the wrong injectors. I was just saying that his are done already. You need high impedence injectors for your car. So to make it easy just get some from an 88-91 if you can. Oh and you don't need any larger injectors really unless you go with some sort of forced induction.

thanks i am going with a S/C setup i recently purchased.I found this link it cleared up all the questions i had,the plugs are different on the 89-91 but the high ipedance did start at 87.5.Thanks for your help ryde or die. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...light=injector

brought back from the dead!!!

I had these low imp 720s installed on my high ipm injector harness for about 200 mile or 4 days, you think I'm all right? How will I know if my injectors or ecu are fried????
