hello,
i am new to rx-7's and am looking to buy one. i have many questions about them though. i have heard that rotarys can be very inrelyable, is this fact or fiction? what is there to look for in seccond gens when im going to go buy one? are there cirtin things that i should look spacifically for as far as flaws go? im going to look at an 87n/a tomorrow, it has 130k on the original motor, would you say its time for a rebuild? the body is straight the person says but the sunroof and passanger door window wont roll up/down, is this normal for these cars? any information on what to look for when looking tomorrow would be very helpful, thanks,

Do a search, but don't forget these cars are 17 years old. No difference in looking at other cars of the same year that have been driven hard. I've had mine since new S5 TII and replaced the engine at 155,000, but some go well over 200,000 miles. Clutch may need replacement, but mine was original, but replaced when engine done. Trans syncros are another wear item along with some electrical bugs. Overall great cars.
