What does that hose on the intake for and go to?
I'm talking about that little hose, that plugs into the air intake hose on a TII stock intake. Its got some sorta check valve on it, that's metal color. I'm not talking about the BOV or AIR PUMP hose, but the other tiny little hose that plugs into the intake duct. Anyone know what its function is and where its sucking air to?

Suscks fumes out of the crank case, charcoal canister and fuel tank. See section 4B of http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/Technical_I...ice_manual.htm

Uh, guys, if it sucks, its broke. It should only blow. That is the reason for the check valve. That hose is there to vent excess blowby gasses that the PCV system can't handle, that is if the crankcase ever starts to pressurize (it starts to blow!). Uh, maybe this belongs in the lounge???

Ok!Ok! Ok! Irv's right. It blows. It does not suck. How about a compromise. It relieves excess pressure and fumes from the crankcase(don't dare write back and ask me where the crank is in a rotary or I'll show you what cranky is) and the charcoal canister and the fuel tank. In other words, its place in life is not very important, just like all things that suck and blow. EDIT.....Wait a minute before I apologize. If there is a low pressure area at the intake duct side of the check valve and a high pressure side on the other, then it SUCKS! Yeah, maybe this belongs in the Lounge area. Queer problem. (sorry, I have not been to diversity training at work yet. They're supposed to send me next year to make me a better employee).
