I've seen one design that keeps the idiot cluster intact and basically bolts on top of that.

I think a single DIN radio cut-out + triple 2" / 52mm panel under or over that might be doable.  The crappy stereo kits I've seen all SUCK!  Cheap would be textured ABS plastic, and it's easily covered or painted.  Aluminum or any other metal would cost at least 2 to 3 times more.

This is something that not everyone would be willing to sacrifice.  I was resistant getting rid of the center vents, but when I HAD to add more gauges, out they went and I have never regretted it since.

See above.

a GOOD molded in cup holder, or one that atleast looks mostly stock....
What does "mostly stock" look like?

and a hatch cover that will cover the hatch
kinda like the 3rd gen

Oops sorry Reted, I forgot to post what I would be willing to pay;

I would like to see the following things;
1) A triple gauge cluster that replaces the whole apillar cover.--------- $50.00
2) A non factory replacement for the Rear hatch cover ( I am going to work on this when i get the time) --------- $100.00
3) A front difuser plate (under the car venting high pressure air up) --------- $70.00
4) a Nice Vented Hood that isn't Goddy or ricey, just functional ----------- $500.00
5) Rebuilt/Recovered Leather TII seats. --------- $400.00 (each with core exchange)

I find multi A-pillar gauges annoying to my eyes.  Trying to refocus between the gauges really screws my eye up!

Can't you guys get this taken care of with a local uphostery shop?

The problems with kits like this is that you're fighting companies like Summit Racing with dirt low prices.  A thorough write-up with the proper listing of parts from Summit Racing should be good enough?

With the automatic seat belts in place I'd like to see a gauge pod that could fit properly for us s5 folk, i've attempted to modify mine with a heatgun with not so pretty success. Or any other convient, yet not obnoxiously ugly mounting locations for gauges would impress me.
Yeah, I see what you mean.  Having a single A-pillar gauge down low by the dash isn't as bad as I first thought.

One thing I definatly am not happy with is how old the interior looks, if there was only some way to make it look newer, perhaps brushed aluminum surrounds? I'm not real sure, but if a product could come out that would make the interior look more modern, I'd be willing to pay an small fortune for it. Wether it be a digital gauge cluster replacement, or an entire new gauge surround with modified buttons/dials for lights/so forth.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of shiny things inside the car.  It really distracts when you're driving.

If you're looking for CF stuff, check out this thread:

Oh, and having guages that are redlining pop to the front of the screen and make it flash would be good. Like the temp guages. or maybe A/F readings where you could set it to warn on lean or too rich or what not... I understand this would take a lot of work.. but stingy FC drivers worldwide would buy something like this. I know BMW's had something a lot like this, probably still do. (as much as 400-600...800? jesus I don't know, but a whole whole lot)
Too much time and R&D cause of the electronics.

2. Battery Relocation Kit. (however much it costs to get the pieces and put a fair markup for you in it)
I'm actually working on a battery relocation write-up right now, so we'll see if there is demand for a kit.  Most of the items are easily available locally or from online catalogs.

3. Pop-up light replacement kit (150)
I don't like any of the light kits I've seen, so I doubt I would work on one myself.  One pair of lamps already costs $100, so I doubt it can be done under $500 for a 4 lamp set-up.

4. Stereo Surrounds that don't break.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=283704

5. Classy new taillights. (working on some myself) (200-300)
This gets into DOT certification, and that's not something I want to worry about.

6. CAI that doesnt' require cutting... possible? (a whole lot)
Addressed earlier.

7. Sideview mirrors that keep a stock design (maybe something a little cooler if you feel the need) but have a mount so they can pivot inwards if they get hit like modern cars. (100)
Anything dealing with mirrors is pretty much out, as tempered glass is pretty much required.

8. a guage cluster that mounts using a bracket and screws that can be moved or arranged then screwed out to brace the cluster in tight places. If you don't understand what I mean, PM me and I'll explain it. but it would solve the idiot light AND above stereo slot cluster requests at the same time. probably logicon as well.
Gauge panels seems to be very popular item.

a short shifter that dosent cost as much as a jdm replacement transmission, yeah, that woul be coo...
.$50
Almost impossible without having a decent profit margin.
These units are SS and CNC lathe'd, which means production costs are high.

Now for the biggie, spring perches and adjustable collars (no springs) for all four corners to fit eibach 2.5" coils. they would have to be cheaper than ground control, so id say 150 for the set, maybe.
We're actually looking to jump into the whole coilover business...

And one more thing, racing seat brackets that actually fit the floorboard of the FC. Oh man, that would be priceless.
Lots of liability in that, and testing is next to impossible.

Hmm...I'm not sure I understand what you mean?

Do you mean a totally set of pedals?
Cut the stock pedal bottoms off and put on new ones?

I really like the stock dead pedal.  Are you overly tall?

The current console is one of the main things in the car that really help it maintain that 80's look.
I've been toying with redesigning the ENTIRE lower center console part, but that's some serious money we're talking about.

I've seen some of the American (i.e. Ford Explorer) lower arm rests, and they are solid and very strong.

You know, I'm against the conversion, but I see that the demand is there...I might just think seriously about making a kit.

Trying to keep the engine alive is a whole nother matter though...

You can always run a tinted panel and run it full illumination when turned on?

People should check out Dave Gibson's thread on all the carbon stuff.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=283704

Anyhow, a cuholer would be nice, I think you should try to make one that replaces the trim around the shifter itself instead of the whole stereo surround, it would save on costs, and probably be easy to produce. Just make sure its on the passanger side, and able to hold 32 ounces, lol.
I think hanging it on the plastic pieces is going to damage or crack them in very short time.

Id also like to see some sort of idiot cluster gauge holder replacement, but one that would hold 3 60mm gauges.
Damn, you got money!

subframe spacers for the rear,

There are kits popping up in Japan - one is called "Pengiun".  Maybe they might make it to the U.S., or you can contact any composite shop that handles plastics.

underbody aero kit to cover up the tranny tunnel, stuff like that
Yeah, all the under aero stuff is in development.

I might do a write-up for it, but we can't compete with Summit Racing prices on the Earls pieces.  This is the main reason why I don't want to do any of these AN SS stuff.

Hey guys, Dave Gibson from FC3S.Org has started another thread that covers CF stuff and most cosmetic and panels here:
