What do you use to clean the inside and outside of the vert top???

What do you use to clean the inside and outside of the vert top???
For the outside, do you guys just use a UV protectant?
Also, I don't want to trash that nice felt-like interior surface, but it is really soiled...what do I use to clean it?
Help appreciated.
