Have a O2 bung added to the header or further down stream. You need to O2 sensor.

a different angle of the same header taken directly from Racing Beat's site. looks like there is an O2 bung on it. also it's $40 cheaper if you buy it straight from the source

if you go to the link that i provided and click on "exhaust components" on the left of the screen there are two sets of headers which are not used with the true dual exhaust. one of them is the one which 3vil pictured and the other one is the one which my link sends you to. i would pay more for the 12 lb header over the 19 lb. ill just have to make sure it has the o2 bung

You'd lose a small amount in fuel milage with no 02 sensor and on a series five you'd have a constant engine fault light due to the lack of the sensor.

02 sensor bungs can be bought from places like SummitRacing and welded in by a muffler shop? Pegasus Racing also sells the bungs.

I'm not sure you'd even notice the less fuel milage problem. If you wanted gas milage you'd have bought a ??? VW? or such type car.

From your link, 3rd to last sentence:
This header is equipped with an oxygen sensor fitting.

I've been running without an O2 sensor for about a year... I just never got around to buying one since I rounded the old one off trying to take it outta the factory manifold.

I've just got a plug stuck in my RB header.

Cons:
-**** mileage. (17 MPG vs 23 in a properly functioning N/A)
-Increased spark plug fouling due to running rich
-Increased potential for flooding (Though I have never flooded it.)
-Increased fuel dilution of oil (My oil smells like me weed wacker!)

Yeah, I should probably get around to putting that O2 sensor in.

do you think no o2 sensor would cause it to burn more oil? ever since I put my street header on and 2.5" with presilencer (on stock na), I have been putting a quart in every 650-700 miles of regular daily driving. it wasn't doing this before so I wonder...? don't mean to thread jack but looks like OP had his answer. my sensors are stuck good in both the header and old manifold, did not have good tools and almost started stripping the nuts so I just gave up. guess I should get on that. (header o2 has the wires gone, impossible to splice so thats why I don't use that one)

Theres no O2 sensor on my header(RB Road Race) and my mpgs are about 23-25 on the daily. But I have no omp, no air pump, 5/6 ports wired open, and no egr. I havent seen anything odd about how it runs and drives other than an occasional bouncy idle when cold (500-950rpms).

My wire broke off, and one day I noticed it while looking at the engine. I had no clue... I was having a slight bouncy idle 700-950rpms when cold. Maybe less mpgs I was getting low 30s highway but now mid 20's. Gas is expensive right now, I might be fixing the wire.
