I believe teh n34x series are s4 RHD turbo vert ecu's. And the n31x would be s4 coupe RHD turbo. Theyre both equivalent to the n33x in north america.

Yeah the S4 models were sold new in Aus as Aus models, there was the Sport, GT, and GT limited.

The GT was bascily a GXL with headlight washers, and the GT limited was a Turbo with every possible option.

The Sport (intresting enough) was almost identical to the US spec Sport (or Canadian GS).

Does anyone know if you can install an Rtek 1.7 on a N341? This is from a 89 JDM JSpec S5 vert with mechanical metering pump

to be used with what harness? they may be able to upgrade it but without wiring it for that series of ECU then it is useless. and without diagrams of the wiring harness for that model ECU we can't help you there either.

FL Auto vs 5 speed ECU

My car is automatic and it does have the N341 ECU. At this point I'm trying to figure out what option I may have. So far I think my only choice is to find a Japanese eprom to work with my ecu. Maybe a knight sports chip????Any thoughts

is your car a right hand drive? if not, you're spinning your wheels.

if you want to tune it, you should just go with a standalone and ditch that ancient 1980's crap technology.

Yes, my car is RHD and I'm not looking to do anything that will change the stock appearance of the car; beyond wheels and exhaust that is. Everything I'm doing is in keeping with an OEM look and function. Back in the day we used to call it a sleeper.LOL

an engine management won't affect the appearance of the car, and when it comes time to work on it there will be some documentation to follow. unfortunately i have no experience with Jspec cars and i am probably one of the most experienced FC people you will run into for USDM cars, except there is minor nuances between the eurospec/jspec models i have no clue of, nor can find diagrams for.
