Um...my list of cars I have/can beat is pretty long so Ill make it simple. If it cant run a 13 sec 1/4 or lower, I could at least hold my own. A few weeks ago I beat a 98 mustang GT and a 95 Z28. Not by much, but I still won. My mods are in the link in my sig.

Did you ever check your exhaust? Its worth at least checking .... that is what was causing my car to over heat .... it drove me crazy for a month before I figured it out ...

You really think my exhaust could make me run hot? Why is that? I am waiting till I get it fixed to change my exhaust actually, have my dual-outlet header sitting in my closet.

I really do ... if your mufflers or cats are clogged it will cause the heat to back up into the engine compartment ... it happened on my car and I remember reading about it happening on another member of this forum ... plus it's really not that hard to check .... Just unbolt your exhaust manifold and see if it still over heats.

Good luck

most of my races happen on the move and thats good because i (unfortunately) have a crap-o-matic transmission. but its still hella fast on the move so my list is as follows.....
v-6 mustangs and camaros
older v-8 5.0s and z28s
civics
neons
some fool in a nissan sentra se (recently)
240sx
intergas (gs, and gs-r)
celicas
volkswagon vr-6
preludes (close call)
ive got a borla exhaust and a K&N filter cone. pulleys are next and i'm looking for a manual tranny. and its not just flat out power, i race on curvy roads and around traffic. so i often use that to my advantage especially against cars that would kill me in the power department.

Yeah...... These ppl were stunned, they though i was runnin NOS or abig turbo. My car stock was much faster than everyone in this forum is taking about. I think i know why. Its about the driver. I'm not flamin anyone, but i have seen lots of very fast cars at the track run slow *** runs. If all of u want to really want to make your car faster. Learn how to launch and shift Its all free too, kinda adds meaning to the saying,"best things in life are free" . When i first had my car stock w/ 125,000 it ran a constistand 7.1 0-60 and i had just learned how to drive a stick like 3 months earlier. And ppl i have read about say they beat like v6 camaros and like probes, your cars can like smoke these pieces by like 4 car lengths at 60. I don't have anywhere near the amout of anyone elses mods either. Then again my car is in really good shape.

Depends on what you are comparing it too. Yeah new FDs, and some other turbos, but other n/a cars, i don't think so. Plus our cars are like decades old, I still can kick anything *** up here in MN. I haven't been beat anyone i've ran into, and my list would be alot longer if i include unworthy cars..

I posted earlier in the thread... quite a while ago! ANyways.. I can say I can beat just about anything American except Mustang SVT's, Vettes, and the 305HP T/A Ram air (and related Camaro) Mclaren F-1. (but only by 120 car lengths)...
So, Any normal Mustang GT (any year), Camaros, whatever.
A few days ago I raced a brand new GT with an exhaust on it, - up an on ramp then up about 200 KM/H
Smoked him on the on ramp (they can't handle...), got cought by a car in front of me on the expressway, he got beside me because of it, then we were clear in front, so we let it go- I beat him- though not by much, then I let off after 200 once it was obvious. Then he blew by and probably thought he beat me...
This freakin city is FULL is Mustangs. (Up here near Detroit) Every punk and there brother has one, and I can always overhear people saying they know someone who got beat by this stock black rx-7! (My car looks bone stock.)
My work won't be done untill they are all beat. I'm up to about 10 of em....Some of em are starting to put $$ into their stangs though.... I am worried a bit. But hey, that's what the turbo kit I'm working on is for!
Race safe, keep it fun.
Merry Christmas.

In my old 86' GXL I have beat the following:

5.0 Mustang - Flowmaster exhausts - freeway
Modified Hondas & Acuras - Exhausts and stuff? - Freeway and twisties & off the line
Eclipse's on freeway - Exhausts and stuff... 1 was a GST - Freeway amd twisties
Supra Turbo on twisties
Neon <--joke
Probes - Freeway and twisties
Jettas - Twisties
Ninja Motorcycle - twisties

My mods were:
Blitz Cone intake
Ported TB
Electric Fan
Lightened body all over where I could
No P/S or A/C either
Racing Beat header
2.5" Pipes all the way back to 2.5' Sebring Exhausts
Light Ronel wheels with 225/50/15's in front and 215/50/15's in rear
KYB Struts - Suspension Technique Springs - Suspension technique sway bars

Now I have the car below which I beat a modified CRX on the 110 freeway 2 days ago by about 15 car lenghts :p - it doesn't have the Sebring Exhausts anymore though. they were replaced by TII mufflers.

Was this guy pushing the bike or actually riding it? Oh..... and 250 Ninja's do not count as motorcycles, they are mopeds.
