what can I use to quiet this screamin exhaust?!
As it sits right now on my T2 I have a 3"DP into a glass packed resonator and 3" back to an N1 muffler. I shouold have known better than to use the resonator I did but.... So who out there makes a more effective unit I can replace this resonator with? I would prefer something that will take as much noise out as possible while still retaining a straight through design. Also it neeeds to have a 3"in/outlet. And flanges are irrelevant as I can weld it up myself. Thanks for any input

I'd try something like this as a presilencer:

Or get an RB catback.

I think you should call Summit or Dynomax up and ask. I looked at other ones at Summit and they all have the same exact paragraph for all of them, so I kind of doubt it applies to all of them really. Not sure, but you need all SS. No fiberglass for sure. Good pickup.

Yeah stay "striaght". don't worry about your car being to loud. You don't drive a car that was made to be quiet. In a few years some of are cars will be 20 years old. If you try to make if quiet you will just be killing your power numbers and burning extra gas for nothing.
And none of us want to spend more money at the pump and get less performance out of it.

I Love the parking garages in Portland. I head up to the top every time. If I get it just right I can make a low drone that will let me know wich cars have alarms (warning beep), then I give it a 7K blast and watch all the other people look at me like the crazy bastard I am! Buwahahahaha No bridgport though.. 3" - 3" single cat - 2 1/2" all the way, cheap *** Bomz EVO mufflers at the back = Lots of speeding tickets.
