What is all needed to go to T04?

I've got a (pretty) stock S4 T2. I have a Garret T04E sitting at home.

I'm about to rebuild with a mild streetport. I just bought a Koyo radiator and a Black Magic efan.

Buying an FMIC sometime this week, what dimensions would be best?
Who makes good manifolds?
What size injectors do I need?
What should I use for fuel management?
EMS?
What kind of wastegate options do I have?
What seals should I go with in my rebuild? 2mm or 3mm?
Should I move from 2.5" single to 3"? Dual?

(I'm new to rotaries, I'm letting the professionals handle the rebuild - RX7 Specialties in Calgary).

Like I said, I'm new(er) to rotaries, so I'm not too sure what all I should be doing. Before someone spouts off about I don't know what I'm getting myself into.... I do know what I'm getting in to. The car was my best friends for five years. I've owned it for 3 weeks, and it was just rebuilt 40,000km ago. I am fully aware of how expensive this car is going to be, and I'm not worried about it. I'm looking for honest opinions.

Is the T04E worth it, or should I sell it and buy a different turbo? Suggestions?

Most of the parts will be purchased within the next six weeks. Rebuild will begin mid October or so. I'm pretty much replacing everything under the hood as well. It will be a long process, but oh, so worth it.

Well I don't know the specs of a T04E but
The HKS FMIC is damn good. anything that barely fits under the front bumper will do nicely hehehe

Not sure on injector sizes but I assume 720's all around at a minimum with probably 850-1600 secondaries in reality.

Haltech or Microtech depending on who is around you to help tune it.

HKS makes a good cast manifold for a t04 footprint.

Dunno bout wastegates

2mm seals are fine as long as you don't go all kamikazi on the dyno tuning it.
3mm's are good to take a bit more punishment when it comes to tuning error.
I know many 300-500hp FC's running 2mm's.

I'd say a 3inch downpipe and probably racing beat catback or something like that.
Corksport 3inch catback woudl be the pure race setup since it's just straight through with no muffling(I advise against a daily driver unless you have a inline muffler or cat)

For a T04 you'll need a cast manifold with a T4 footprint... You can get them from HKS, Greddy, and a couple other manufacturers... Stay away from the cheaper tubular stainless manifolds, because regardless of the weld quality, they usually use stainless tubing and mild steel flanges, which both expand at different rates, causing it to crack at the seam...

You'll also need a good external wastegate... I would personally recommend Tial, but you would have to buy an adapter flange for the manifold... Or you could use a Greddy or HKS external gate, depending on which manifold you were running... Somewhere between 40mm and 60mm depending on how far you wanted to take it...

As for the intercooler, I would have to say at least 20 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and 3 inches thick... You may have to do some cutting to make it fit right...

The fuel system should consist of something like a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, a good adjustible fuel pressure regulator, 720cc or 850cc primaries, and 1600cc secondaries, and you could even weld taps for 8AN fittings on the rails... Also make sure you replace you pulsation dampener!!! Port the throttle body for a couple extra horses...

If you're running a standalone EMS, you'll need no fuel management, which brings us to our next mission... A standalone EMS... For this most people will tell you either Haltech E6X or E6K (maybe the new E8?) or a Microtech LT-10S or LT-12S with your choice of hand controller, dash pod, or laptop hookups...

You'll want the most free flowing 3" exhaust your state's emissions will allow, and whether it's single or dual really doesn't make a world of difference, being it's split at a rearward y-pipe anyways... Make a 3" aluminum throttle inlet duct...

2mm seals will be fine unless your motor has very high mileage, and/or you plan on boosting crazy lbs...

"Garret[sic] T04E" doesn't mean anything to me.
It could be a small "40" trim or the largest "60" trim.

The smaller T04E's aren't worth putting on a 13B.

Do you really need all that for a T04E, or just if you plan on getting the max possible boost out of it right away?
