Good news: I found the condensor and the plug on the wiring harness.

Bad news: It was connected the whole time......

Alright back to square one. What is going to cause such high oil pressure? A restriction? The oil cooler and lines functioned just perfectly 3 months ago. Also the only things I touched were 1: The front cover OPR and the rear Iron OPR, and the oil pump.

It may be malfunctioning. Don't you have a parts car??? try to swap them just for varification.

Good to hear that you finally got it running again, you guys are giving me rebuild fever.

Are you positive that you aligned the oil pump correctly? I remember reading that a certain someone else had a high oil pressure problem because it wasn't connected correctly.

Other then that, the only obvious thing I could think of is that the level may be too high, or could it possible be the side/corner/oil seals aren't spec'd properly and after heating up the oil is getting pressurized by the engine?

Just a theory, but I could see how it could happen.

I think I figured out my oil pressure problems...

My 3rd turbo bit the dust today. White thick oil smelling smoke comes pouring out the tail pipes when I start to boost. Same thing happened when I got the car with a shot turbo. I think my oil feed line for the turbo was clogged, even though I blew it out with compressed air, caused high oil pressure, and caused the bearings to fail in my turbo. Well this turbo was on its way out anways. It smoked and leaked oil horribly, enough that it dribbled down from the BOV connector pipe around the coupler.... Sad thing is I paid $150 for this turbo and was told it had like 30 thousand km on it . My last turbo never died, it just had some bad shaft play, but was still usable, kinda sad that I just got rid of it.

Well off to better and more expensive things .
