Weird Beeping noise

Ok, so heres the deal. I've had my car off the road for about 5 months now, and i've started it up at various times throught these months. Anyways, I ripped the intake apart, because i was going to put on an aftermarket cone filter, i never got around to it, so today I put my car all back together and took it for a spin. It ran a little rough, but after driving it for about 2 minutes a weird beeping noise came on.

It sounded exactly like this beep beep beep beeeeeep beep and repeated itself over and over. I have no idea what it could be. My instrument pannel isn't working right now so i couldn't tell what the heat was, but then again i've NEVER had a problem with my car getting to hot.

Any ideas?

Dude? It went "beep beep beep beeeeeep beep?" Are you sure? That sounds extactly like that one song, you know, the one that goes like 'beep beep beep beee-da-beep beep badda baa doo beep,' or wait, no... That's not the song I was thinking of. Anyone know that song? It starts off like, 'ba da dum bee doooo'... or something?? Wait... How about that other one, "da daa dat da daaaa da da dut dudda dudda dut, da daa dat duddy daaaaaa...." Man, Chicago rocks. Love that brassy sound.

Lol, sorry, I couldn't resist. I don't know what your car's having a problem with, sorry.

I did kinda notice the steering was a little off, but i haven't driven the car in 6 months, so i'm used to a different vehicle. Damn it felt SOOO good to get back in my baby. I drove by these 3 guys and as i was passing them I heard someone say "HolyShit" thats loud! LOL, good to be back!

NO NO NO NO,

If it was the power steering computer you wouldn't be getting the beeps.

The number of beeps before the pause tells you exactly what is wrong.

And yes if your speedo cable is not hooked up then the power steering computer can not recievce a speed signal and that is what your error code/beep is telling you.
