??? the intake has nothing to do with the car temps... the akimoto part is just that metal pipe, you are not going to get anything better for that. your air filter (the green thing) looks like an HKS. if you want to replace that with a K&N you can. but all you need to do is buy a new foam for your hks so it's clean. they are are not that much. there is no reason to replace that pipe, the only other intake that will even replace it is the K&N fipk but that is a good amount of money. and won't be any better. leave it the way it is. it the green foam is dirty buy a new one. maybe $20 or so, don't know. and then you can try and build a cold air box around it.

ok, just measure the hole size, it's either 2.75 or 3". then try and find a K&N that will fit.

the hks ones are ok as long as your replace the foam every so often. like once a year.

hey smarty pants, there is a 92, just like there wasn't a 86 turbo in US. or a FB Turbo in US. There are 1992 FCs, just none brought to US... :-)

I think there may have been a convertible model in '92 and that was it.Any coupes or TII's sold in '92 were just left over'91s sold as '92s.
Where did you get the Akimoto intake pipe from.I'd kinda like one of those.

yeah but no 92's in north america. if the product is sold in north america it should say 89-91 on the box. other wise it will just confuse people.

What do you want for it?

I've been looking to buy an intake for a while now. What would you be looking to get out of the setup you have? I'm interested, please let me know.

Regards,
Gavin

the akimoto sports intake came on the car. dont know where the guy before me bought it, probably from a local car performance shop. i heard akimoto sucks though, so i dont know if i would recommend you to buy one, but it seems to be keeping my engine cool, so i guess it works pretty good
