Maybe one of us should try E-mailing them? Anyone have there E-mail?
Haltech is just to confusing and $$ for some of us right now.

Well i E-mailed them.. This is the response i got..
"We do not have an ETA. We have not even started any serious work with the S5
ECU so it is a ways off.

I am really sad... I hope they start working on it.

So why doesn't someone figure it out? Anybody have any idea what eprom chip their using? I'd assume they use the flash once Atmel 27c256 series as most other car manufacturers with eproms did around that time. Then it's just a matter of figuring out what each address is for and modifying it appropriately. Or, you could use an eprom emulator and then just emulate the stock chip and locate what it addresses under certain conditions (fuel cut, timing retard, etc)

Forum member Henrik is supposedly the only one who makes these chips. He only owns an S4 TII. If you guys want to speed things up, you should donate your S5 TII's so he actually has a car he can use to test. If not, just wait patiently.
Or, start saving/selling old parts to buy a stand-alone ems. The rewards will be much greater than the costs it will initially incur.
