Heyt Boosted, I went with the 62-1 and it is a much better looking turbo than the 60-1, it came polished up from the factory and it pulls alot better than the 60-1.

Here is a pic of my 62-1 just the way it came. No special appearance or polish package was added.

My 60-1 came polished. It was supposed to come that way but I think I did pay for it to be polished

DO you really think the 62-1 pulls better? I thought it would have better top end only.

Every single piece of aluminum under my hood will be polished, so obviously I need a polished compressor housing.

Naa, i opted out of the BB option after talking at length with Don Marvel about it. From what I gathered it's not really worth the extra $$ unless your wanting to do some serious racing and that you'll notice more of an inprovement on bigger turbos than you would this size. He said if it were his money buying it, he wouldn't spend the extra cash for it.

BACK FROM AFGHANISTAN!!! I am finally back in country. I just flew into Baltimore and thought I should tell the whole world. Man I needed out of there. I wont really know for sure about the show for a few more weeks yet though. I dont know my graduation date from PLDC yet. As soon as I find out Ill let ya know Mich. I just wont have as much done to the car as I was hoping. I wont be able to get all my parts on. But Freak made a good point, so maybe i am better off. Ill keep ya updated... Thanks again!

Being a female who is in to RX-7's seems very rare,I would like to know if anyone in the Jax,Fl area is going? I would like to do a caravan if possible. Drop a note if anyone knows anything coming near Fl. Thanks!

Hmm...we are still counting on a positive note from Pettit, but we won't know for sure until late March. If so, they will be coming up from SOUTH Florida. We do have a caravan coming across and up from the Carolina's, one from Alabama that is hopefully picking up some folks in Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky.

103 cars registered and of those 38 are FC3s...I know there are more of you in the midwest

Early registration rates end February 29th!

Just by scanning the registrations/guests I would say 1/3rd of the people in attendance this year are females.

I would love to go support all the fc's, but unfortunately, I live in California. But for all of those going, good luck, and maybe see you if you come out this way.

Now I've got a registrant coming up from Jensen Beach, doesn't that pass by Jax on the way north? Or maybe you could hookup with the Carolina Caravan or when I finally break though the Atlanta market

We are coming out, and bringing 4 FC's so far, maybe 5 (depending on how many we can fit on the trailers ) We are headed up the 15 into LA, then out the 40 all the way to OKC, then we hit the 44 all the way to Indy. We are stopping the first night in NM somewhere, and probably in St louis the second night. We will be a pretty large caravan with duallys and enclosed trailers, so we won't be hard to miss. If any of you want to join up, call us at the shop ahead of time, tell us when and where you would like to meet us and we can work out the details. Anyone saying it's too far for them...I say BS. We are coming over 2000 miles to attend

I'd like to meet up with you in Amarillo. I'm about 100 miles south and have decided to trailer the car so if the road course gets the best of it i'll still have a ride home.
If you have any idea when you might b e headed through Amarillo please PM me or post it here and I'll wait in Amarillo for ya.

HELP!

I have been trying many different unique ways to contact places about covering the event. One of these is Speed Channel.

We have Mazda trying to contact them, I have emailed them repeatedly and now I have posted on their online forum that they monitor.

Please register and add a reply about wanting them to cover the event.

The thread can be found here:
http://insider.speedtv.com/viewtopic.php?t=30732

THANKS!

UPDATE!

The thread has been removed by Speed Channel, but I have been contacted with what is hopefully a way to get someone to show interest in featuring the event.

I'll keep everyone informed on what transpires.

Thanks again to everyone who posted on their forum.

Our goal is to hit Albuquerque the first night, then leave in the morning approx 8am towards you. I assume we should be there approx noonish on Thursday the 29th. I will pm you my cell phone, and let me get your number as well and I can call you when we are about 100miles or so out of Amarillo so you can meet up with us.
