We Have A Winner!

My friend who owns the shop I take my car to, Mike Lowe of Lowe's Automotive here in Sarasota, FL, won the street tires division of the NOPI event held at Desoto Speedway in Bradenton, FL. In fact the car he ran against in the finals was another client of his whose car he also works on.
So it was an all Lowe's final.

He turned a 12.11 while on the brakes before the end of the run because you can't break 12 if you are not running with a roll cage. I believe he said his speed was 118 mph.
He did it in his Turbo ll street car. He's in the process of building a third Gen. street car.

Way to go Mike!
