Way too much information!!!
Seems like the more I learn, the more confused I get. I have a 13b non-turbo with 12,000km on the rebuild. It's in an 89 automatic convertible (very slow!).
Can I get more hp without turbo or supercharger?
Is it possible to turbocharge this engine?
What is a downpipe?
What is cold air intake?
There is alot of information on this site but it seem like everyone is using terminology I don't understand. Is there a good resource to get this information??
I'm really new at this thing.

You can streetport it for more power.
Yes, is possible but not cost effective and you can't run much boost. Very difficult to install a system too. Easier to buy a 13BT engine.
Downpipe is the pipe that extends right after the turbo to the rest of the exhaust system.
Cold air intake? Can't really do it with the stock AFM. You can build an air box and that will help.
With power upgrades, you may want to consider doing a manual conversion and ditch the slushbox.

Auto 'vert?
My condolences. Not hatin' the vert- I love mine to death. But you gotta lose that slushbox.
Funny how I see auto 'verts all OVER Ebay-
And yes, a 13BT conversion is the way to go.

For more power the obvious two are intake & exhaust (you mentioned the first). The most extreme exhaust would be the Mazdatrix true duels.
N/A (naturally aspirated) RX-7s can have downpipes too. It's just a pipe that connects to you exhaust manifold and has an S bend to connect to the rest of your exhaust. Same function as a header.
A cold air intake usually means some sort of cone air filter that is isolated or recieving air that is cooler than that in the engine bay.
Read the stickys at the top of the 2nd gen page. This is the FC FAQ found there:
