water pump housing compatibility question

just double checking for somebody here. a s4 water pump housing on a s4 n/a is the same as a s4 13bt turbo. the housing and the water pump neck that is. i crossed referenced them in the fsm parts order manual and they all match up under the same number for s n/a and a turbo. would somebody please confirm this for me....

The housing is not the same, The neck is not the same.

only the water pump itself is the same.

The housing has an extra outlet/ line for the turbo.

The Turbo neck has a threaded spot for the Fan temp.

And your bump was deleted... bumps are forbidden in the 2nd gen technical section

Check this page out for info on all front covers since the 12A. If you have been to this site, but not recectly, they have had a massive update with tons of pics.

and that has what to do with water pumps and water pump housings???

You do know that the front cover and water pump housings are two different things???

well I guess you could take a non turbo housing and drill and tap it put in a fitting to run the extra coolant line for the turbo.

It would bolt in then.

sorry man i just had some bad information... im glad i double checked it before selling it to ya. good to avoid the mess before it happened good luck finding a housing then
