water pours out of engine block
New member, longtime RX owner. I read the directions, the note about archives, and I've been sitting here crying in my orange juice and searching the site for two hours to make sure I'm not repeating anything.
I think I'm in biiiiiiig trouble with my 5-speed '91 convertible (124,244 miles).
Driving up I- 75 outside of Tampa the temp. gauge suddenly shot up and steam hit my windshield, so I pulled over. Car had very suddenly overheated.
Within the past two years I have replaced all hoses, waterpump, radiator, radiator cap, fluid level sensor, and that stupid plastic neck on the pump housing that goes to the upper radiator hose (whose #@*%!! idea was to make it plastic?). Naturally, these parts go bad on all cars as milage gets higher. The car had never really run hot before, and I have never let it overheat, according to the temp. sensor. I check the oil and water level all the time, as I am desperate to avoid a rebuild.
I towed the car home to Merritt Island, but now as it sits in the driveway, every single drop of water I pour into the radiator comes out of the bottom of my engine block- I can't see exactly where, but it seems to be on the passenger side of the block, not particularly close to the waterpump itself. There is even water dripping out of what appears to be a weep-hole in the back of the trans bell housing!!!!! Today I just stretched out under the car and cried as the water dripped on my forhead. Someone tell me what happened.

Ok have you checked the water pump weep hole?
take off the pully and check it out. This could be a major failure but I don't think it is you may just have busted a line somewhere. What about the heater hoses and the hose that goes around the TB and throught the BAC did you check that?
