Water to Air Intercooler
I want to run a water to air intercoller on my Turbo NA project buit i don't know where to fiond one all i really nieed to find is the intercooler i plan on using the AC expantion side coils to cool the water, although i may go for something in front of the radiator to help cool better.......... Now for the question what if any cars came stock with a water to air intercooler and does anyone make an aftermarket unit that is not car specific?

If you're clued up, it's not too hard to make one yourself. Air-air intercoolers can be enclosed in sheetmetal with the appropriate fitting attached, or you can use an off-the-shelf heat exhanger. The reservior can be bought or made. The pump needs to be carefully picked to get the right balance between flow and noise. An A/C core or small radiator can be mounted out the front. Then you just plumb it all up and figure out a way to control it.
Here's some links that might help you.

Thanks NZConvertible, At first my plans were to make one on my own with sheet metal and an oil or tranny cooler, but if i can find one from a stock application or a cheap aftermarket one it would save me some time and some painful cuts that i always seem to get when i work with sheet metal

The construction of an air-air core and an air-liquid core are different. You can certainly use an air-air core to make a ghetto air-liquid intercooler, but it will not have the efficiency of a purpose-built air-liquid intercooler.
The same thing goes for your AC condenser, oil cooler, or other heat exchanger. While these may work, you would be better off with a small radiator that is designed to cool a water / ethylene glycol mixture.

Air-liquid intercoolers are expensive. If you are just looking for something cheap, then you should use an air-air intercooler instead. Besides, an air-air intercooler is going to cool the air charge better than an air-liquid intercooler. The only way an air-liquid intercooler is going to work better is if you use a proper core and hook it up to an ice bucket.
