wat happens when you put in wrong plugs?
#3
I found mine reversed too, when I bought the car. They were new so I took them out and put them back in the right holes. There was no difference regarding before and after performance. One of them seems to be a hotter plug (can't remember which one), so I think the difference between leading and trailing plugs has to do with the operating temp. they're exposed to, and therefore long-term plug life.

I should think that the leading plugs will tend to foul quicker, and the trailing ones to burn out.
But it won't make a huge difference to anything else unless you are already running lean and/or hot...

Nothing bad will happen...cmartinp28 had been smoking too much crack!
Now, if you get the trailing spark plug wires switched around, this can lead to detonation and eventual engine damage if you don't back off the throttle...
