Wastegate Actuator
Does anyone know how to check the wastegate actuator and what should I be looking for? My car is building boost real fast an the actuator may need adjusting.

The signal tube for the wastegate actuator takes its pressure directly from the turbo. The attached picture shows this, and describes how to test it.
For what it's worth (and I've posted this before), I use a basketball to test operation of the actuator. Put the big end of an inflation needle in the turbo side of the signal tube, leaving the other end attached to the actuator. Poke the inflation needle into your basketball, and see that the actuator moves.
If the b-ball bounces/dribbles properly, it's at 8 to 10 psi, which is just about right for testing the actuator. This isn't a super-accurate method, but it's effective if you're just trying to make sure everything works.
