Walbro 255 kit
I found a walbro 255 kit for a mustang gt for cheap and I was wondering if it can be adapted to fit my fc. Seems to me like you can make it fit by simply making a harness to go from pump to car.
Any input would be appretiated.
Thanks

Yes, its quite easy. If there is no proper connector, simply get some fuel/oil resitant wire (12awg....or 10 maybe) and crimp/solder ring terminals on the ends, making sure to use quality shrink wrap and pack the connections w/ di-electric grease. Attach them to the stock wire locations after cleaning the contact points.
They list the factor hose diameter as 5/16" but the "5/16" fuel house I got had trouble fitting over the nipple on the pump and the pickup tube, so I used 3/8" , about 3" should be sufficient, and tighten down w/ fuel system clamps.
The only part I'm unsure of is how the pump sits on the bottom of the bracket, mine came with a little black rubber piece that went between the bottom of the assembly and the pump, however the stock pump and my FD pump do not have this.
EDIT: ...you're running an aftermarket turbo right?
