VSS/Speed Pulse Sensor

So I recently got a new headunit for my '91, and I opted for one of them fancy double din Navi units, but I refuse to pay someone to do something that I am more than capable of doing. So I took on the project myself. Most of it was fairly easy since ive done basic stereos before, but i hit a snag with the VSS wire since thats the part i have no experience with.

So, does anyone know what wire i need to hook it up to? Ive heard a couple different things...on the S4 its on the driver side by the power steering chingadera, and on the12volt.com it says its the green/red wire on the 16 pin on the ECU (but theres like 3 different configurations of green/red wires on that connector -_-).

Im just hoping someone whos has done this can shed some light on it and give me a simple "mine works, and this is the wire you need to connect to" answer.

There is actually 3 place where you can get the speed signal, the gauge cluster, the ecu or the cruise control unit. I used the cruise control unit on the driver side for my DEFI setup and it works fine on my Link Display. It's fairly accurate as well, only about 1-2 mph. I compared it to my cluster, the DEFI and one of those radar signs that tells you your speed.

id say the easiest is the cruise control unit. I did the same with my rev meter. just hooked it up to there.
