I have a 87 T11 that had a violent hesitation at about 3600 rpm when I bought it and a jumpy idle. I went ahead and rebuilt the engine did some mods to it, put the engine back in, same thing. So for the past week or so, I have been trying to figure out what was causing the hesitation. Obviously, the secondary injectors weren't coming on like they are supposed to, but couldn't figure out why. Saturday while studying and 87 Rx7 FSM, I came across a section on fuel system. In it was telling how to check the solenoid resistor with an ohmeter, and I did. Guess what, one of the plugs that runs the secondary injectors, didn't get any ohms...FSM said between 5-7 ohms or something, and it didn't have any. So I replaced the solenoid resistor not thinking this would fix the problem, but it couldn't hurt. IT FIXED THE HESITATION. Not the TPS or anything like that. The damn solenoid resistor. Now for the jumpy idle, just disconnected the TPS and that fixed that. Not going to spend $140 on a TPS if I don't have to, that's money I could spend on a supersweet blowoff valve or something else.

Dammit man, lay off that smoke...
It's t2 or tII or tii, not t11(those are not 1's on your car, but roman numeral "I"s)
