Arrow vert top pockets

i have a 1990 convertible and i was just wonderin it has what looks like two pockets(one on each side) behind the doors that goes down into the side of the car. where does water go if you drive it in the rain? these pockets are part of the top. thanks

It should drain out down underneath the car, unless there is junk clogging it up like leaves or something.

There is a whole at the bottom of the pocket and a plastic hose takes the water and dumps it under the car. Leaves and stuff can clog the hose. You can clean out the pocket with a compressor and air blower attachment. A 3/8 inch hose fits inside the hose in the pocket to clean out the hose. If you take the spare cover behind hte seats off you can see the hose. At least that is how my '88 is.
