YOu can put it on a s4, but unless you gasket match it to the s4 LIM youll be doing more harm than good. ALSo you have to think how your gonna activate it. If you just out ti on without way to open up at 5XXXrpms then youll be robbing power.

I've done this before...it does help if you use it properly...Under 5k the thing needs to stay closed...then at 5k it needs a few psi of pressure to open it...How your going to get this to open up is the key...there is some write up on how to do this...Search and you will find it!

I did mine the getto way for a short period of time..Used a seringe and a long peice of vacuum hose...When I got to 5k I just pushed it down...Very hard to control...The only harm that will happen if you don't open it above 5k is low power...Nothing to worry about..
P.S. I went to to drag strip w/ the getto mode and 15.8 w/automatic...very hard to do...broke drive shaft!

Icemark has posted info on putting the UIM from an S5 on to the LIM of an S4. He says that if you use the LIM and UIM of the S5 on the S4 engine, you won't gain any power; you have to port match the S5 UIM to the S4 LIM to get the gains. If you search, you can find an excellent write up on this from Icemark. I plan on doing this conversion in the near future.
