Smile Vacuum caps keep coming off or cracking... Solutions?

Just exactly that.... Every time I take off my IC, I find that I've got a nipple exposed! They either blow off (too loose), or crack/tear (too tight). I'm not interested in permanently sealing the nipples on my UIM but there's got to be some way to keep these babies on w/o them breaking...

Anyone?

Thanks in advance!

McMaster-Carr sells some silicone caps that are red in color..... will fit the bill for you. Search 'silicone caps' and they pop up. Here's a description:

High Temperature—Made of silicone to withstand temperatures up to 600° F for 10 minutes. Durometer hardness is 50A-60A. Color is red.

Use with some high-quality zip ties and you'll be good to go.

Rich beat me to it!

Get those caps he mentioned. I used to replace the caps all the time! Got these and left them alone. 2 years running now, still looks like new!
