Vaccum question?

This may seem like a stupid question but here goes...I have a 88 TII,and with the engine warm I'm only seeing 16-18in, is that cool seems kinda low to me. engine is stock j-spec engine with who knows how many miles, I've checked for leaks ect. let me know what are you guys seeing...thanks

Nice,I looked in the fsm, and couldn't find any specs...engine runs great just wanted to know as I just put in some larger injectors replaced gromets and put in new o-rings,after replacing the upper and lower manifold gaskets, just thought it might bring up my vac numbers, but i saw no change. Thanks for the info,it's nice to have something more to go on than my guess, that the numbers are ok.
