vaccum lines

there are vaccum lines coming off the lower intake manifold right next to two the injectors and then one on top of the motor that comes off what i understand is called the rats nest right by the lower intake manifold. also someone told me that you can just take the rats nest out?

Not a big fan of over searching but you really have to here. I searched many many times,book marked, and searched more and my car fired right up after the rats nest removal and S5 turbo swap. I have 3 vacuum lines with no problems...well maybe the rough idle thing...still need to adjust the TPS at the ECU as WAYNE recommends.

i wasnt saying i was going to take the rats nest off i was just asking about it just what i herd, but i was wondering where the vaccum lines go to

buy the haynes manual if you 100% stock just follow that if you have trouble reading it get some color pencils and color code everything.

The one coming off of the top of the engine (LIM) goes to the front of the dynamic chamber, either the middle or lower nipple...Can't figure out what other ones you're talking about...
