It sounds like it ran to the stock BOV. That is all I can think of.

Ignore all those wrong answers...
It's either for the wastegate (external?) or boost controller.

Try do a search for "boost controller external wastegate"...
The plumbing is a nightmare!
It took me like 30 minutes staring at the stupid thing to figure out WTF was going on!

For BOV plumbing, the BOV needs to see vacuum - so it needs a fitting *after* the TB.
If you use a fitting prior to the TB, the BOV will never open.

i will try to get a pic later, it was one a car that had nothing but the intercooler on it, it was stock turbo and wastegate, the bov is right next to this fitting, someone told me this needs to get boost pressure but that dont make sense to me, maybe im wrong, maybe this is just something that has no reason to be there?

^ use the manage attachments button when you are replying.

My guess on the stuff is a BACV line or ASV line if it was stock setup.

Trust me, it will not work for the BOV.
If you try it, the BOV will never open.

remove the barbed fitting, and like, weld the little hole shut.

edit: couldnt this be for a boost gauge?
