Vac + emissions + questions.. dont flame
ok, so ... ive torn down and reinstalled everything intake related, 90% of vac lines replaced... and i still have a vac leak coming from under the UIM... pisses me off so ******* bad .. AFTER i get it all put back together is the only ******* time i can find the leak, most likely the leak came up when reinstalling the UIM, the new vac lines are too god damn stiff, they like to stick out where the uim and lim mates... anywho.. my question is... since ive been hunting down vac leaks for the past 3 days.. and come up with nothing but yet another vac leak... should i go ahead and remove all of my emissions junk.. minimize the vac lines.. thus eliminating leaks? i live in a place where they do test.. so if i do this i will be fucked either way.. cause i cant pass as is... and i cant pass with the **** removed...
if i remove the emissions.. what all will i need as far as block off's and such. (yes i know 'check the archives' blah blah.. most of that **** is 3 years old, inconclussive, objective bs. but that's just my opinion.. i dont want a write up on how one person did it 3 years ago.. i want some good solid opinions.. *demanding*
