Using the FD Alternator

I done searches and know that its a plug in play basically. The only thing you have to do is change the pully. Now Im stuck in MN and found a Series 6 Alternator. What exactly do I do to make my pully fit the Series 6 one. Ive read things about spacer but want to know for sure. thanks!

The pulley's center hole must be bored out to match the new alternator's center shaft.
You use the same spacer behind the pulley that's there now (with it's center bored as well).

So using the S5 pully I just make the hole on it bigger and same with the washer? Is it easy to sand down or what will I have to use to bore it? Thank you!

I chucked mine in a lathe and machined it.
IIRC, you only have to enlarge it by a little bit (@25-30 thou.).

I've seen people recommend Dremelling the bore by hand...apparently with success, but I'd never do it.
