Using a aftermarket map sensor with TII swap

i was wondering if anyone has done this before with sucess. compairing the free air voltage of the TII (S4 at least) and the stock map sensor on a honda the voltage output is nearly the same. The TII calls for a free air voltage of 2.3-2.7v and the honda calls for 2.5-2.7v... and seeing that both map sensors can only regster 1bar (14.7psi for those who dont know) i cant really see why this wouldn't work. well... they actually won't go above like 11psi becasue the diaphrams will max out but you get the idea. I'd try this to see if it works but i still dont have my S4 in my posession (i will as of monday tho )

Sure, but a used FC turbo boost sensor will surely cost less?

you can get a stock 88-91 honda map sensor for less then $5 at a junkyard, and at some places around here, if you can fit it in your pocket it's free
