There is nothing to be gained you will only loose power and fuel efficiency.

i use the sec. ones of a turboII, my stock ones were bad and i had a extra set lying around so i used it with a turboII AFM and the sec. injectors, it pulls hard and runs a high 14 in the 1/4 with a stock port

Without any sort of fuel controller, using Turbo injectors on a Non turbo engine has been dyno proven over and over (and over and over) to actually reduce horsepower and torque above 5000 RPM over even the stock levels.

In fact the stock non turbo injectors are good for about 225HP, and the first thing that many people do is lean out the stock injection about 4500 RPM, which produces much higher HP (but at the risk of reduced engine life).

It is very common on a piston motor to put in bigger injectors to get more HP, but Mazda already uses oversized injectors for the output HP.

Perhaps your friend has confused the two.

I had 550cc put on my secondaries. Even thou my engine is slightly ported all I saw was a fat line between 6000-8000 rpm. Getting to 8000 rpm was almost imposible. I actually loss quickness. I changed the back to 460cc and it ran normal and faster than the 550cc. 550cc is to much gas for an N/A. It is a waste of time.

Do you mean he put in bigger injectors and got more power as a result (not possible[/i] no matter what anyone says) or he needed to add bigger injectors because he was making too much power for the stock ones to provide enough fuel?
