![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Ok I am finishing up the work on my S4 engine into my S5 vert swap along with a manual tranny install also.
So i have a few quick questions that i hope sombody can help me out with.
On the rear end of the passenger side on the UIM there are 2 vac nipples. one is slightly larger than the other, and one is a smaller one at a 90 degree angle.
1. I am thinking a vac hose form the auto tranny once connected to the larger one.--would i be correct?
2.The smaller one at a 90 degree angle--does this connect to the back of the TB where the water thermo sensor is located?
3.I guess i really didn't notice this before but there is a small hose on the side of my oil filler tube. does this connect to anything or is it just a vent?
4.I have searched but i didn't find any definitive answer as to where the vac line is supposed to connect to coming from the cruise control unit. Allthough i did find where the cable went. ha ha ha--that was a joke. Anyway, where is the nipple for that specifically?
5.I switched the water thermo sensor on the back of the TB to a 2 nipple one instead of the 3 nipple that comes with an automatic, the line with the check valve goes to the other side of the TB near the TB fins and if i was wrong on #2 could you let me know where it is supposed to go?
Thanks a lot for answering my questions. it's much appriciated.
Matt

Your cruise control vac line goes to one of the two you were talking about in items #1 & 2, I believe...
Only hose I can think of on the oil breather tube is the purge valve connection...It's not exactly "small", though...
The line from the water thermo switch in #5 goes to the small dashpot thingy for the secondary throttle plates. The vac line on the switch furthest from the TB is the one, with the delay valve in the line...

Hey Icemark, would you happen to know where the larger of the nipples on the rear of the passenger side UIM go? This is the only thing i need to figure out before trying to start my car.
Thanks much,
Matt
