Upgraded top mount intercooler.

I would like to know some valid opinions about an upgraded top mount intercooler that i wish to purchase.
ARC Stock Mount Intercooler... measures 7cm thick, 26cm high and 23cm wide (2.76x10.24x9.06 in).

Will this provide better cooling than the stock intercooler?

I don't plan on purchasing a fmic for a long time. And frankly, i'm scared to, with the already inadequate cooling system

If you were to get it for very cheap then I guess it would be ok but if you are paying any significant amount of money I'd just wait for a front mount. Heat rises and the intercooler is directly on top of the engine. Doesn't get too much air either. To be to the point and just provide a straight answer tho your question though, yes it will cool better than the stock unit. Alot better? Maybe, maybe not.

bigger intercooler or not you'll still be combating heat soak. if you plan on doing road racing it should be fine but any straight line or commuting kinda thing your intake charges won't be happy with you.
