Upgraded brake parts
I am going for the 5 lug conversion in the near future (gotta save up for wheels and tires too) for my 88 SE (4-lug).
I was looking into some cross-drilled & slotted rotors along with SS brake lines. Any suggestions on brake pads as well?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what brands to puchase (looking for quality) as well as where to buy from (love cheap shipping).

There is a big debate on whether or not drilled rotors are good or bad for the street. I fear this thread will go down that path. Slotted on the other hand are somewhat good as they clear away the face of the pad over time keeping them from glazing over. SS brake lines I got ming from Mazdatrix.com cheapest I found and are DOT approved. Brake pads I use Metal Masters pads and they are good my friend James just got some Hawk pads. Maybe he will chime in on this.

Are Hawk hps pads a lot better than EBC's? Also, I most rotors that Ive seen lately arent actually drilled. They are "dimpled", which means there's and indentation to relieve gas pressure and such, but not a hole that would weaken the rotor. Ive seen Brembo x-drilled rotors cracked. Given, it was on a brand new 360 Modena getting the fogged on a track, but still. When we pulled up in the pits, there was smoke coming from the front left wheel well cause he fried the rotor.
