UPDATE. the TII wont start, will be towed soon. i am almost in a very bad situation..
as you may know from my other post, my car has been running really rich for some reason and it has already fouled out my trailing spark plugs after 3 days...
first step: i went to the gas station to fillup my tank (gas gauge doesnt work so i have to fillup every 150 miles or so to be safe)
second step: got the car started after filling up (had to be jumped) and the trailing spark plugs were not firing.
third step: went back tonight and pulled all 4 spark plugs, cleaned them off, turned the car over for a second to get the extra fuel out from flooding it.
fourth step: put the plugs back in (leading 1 in bottom front rotor, leading 2 in bottom rear rotor, trailing 1 in top front rotor, trailing 2 in top rear rotor) i thought that was the right way to hook them up, am i right?
car would not start, got it to almost catch a couple times, some vapor out of the exhaust, a couple pops from the exhaust, but no start.
now the problems with this...
1. i can't drive anywhere and have to bum rides and get my car jumped
2. the car is stuck at the gas station and will be towed if i dont get it gone in a couple days.
3. tomorrow (friday) is the last day of finals week and i have to be moved out by noon saturday AND have to find a way to get home if my car doesnt start (about 130 miles away)
if i dont get this bitch started by saturday i am going to have to pay massive money to get it towed to louisville (a 2 hour drive going 90 the whole way.) and i dont know exaclty how much it would cost. so i guess i just need some ideas about what to do to get this thing started and in a good running state... help...

How do you know the trailing plugs aren't firing? Did you pull a trailing wire and plug to physically look for spark? Also, have you tried switching coil packs and then checking for spark? In a pinch when i have wet plugs i take a lighter and try to burn off as much fuel as possible to dry out a plug. I know it's not the same as letting them totally dry out or replacing them, but it works in a bind. If they are getting that wet, I would presume your compression is relatively weak, so I would squirt some oil in spark plug holes to help build conmpression.

Well, get a friend or call a tow truck. Either one can pull/push start your car. It *will* start running off just the front rotor. I dont think a tow truck will charge you a lot to do that. It will start after like a block then you can go home and figure out wtf is wrong with it.

i had it running before i pulled the plugs. it was very quiet, running so rich that it was smoking, and idling perfectly and wouldnt rev because there was barely enough power to keep the car running...
and about the compression, i had all 4 plugs out and cranked it with no fuel and a lot of air was coming out with every revolution(front AND rear rotor).
i had all 4 plugs out of the holes and hooked up to the wires and there was spark.

It will be good enough to drive home... but if it bogs from being rich down low, dont let the rpms drop so low when you have to stop at lights and stuff.
To me, it sounds like your fuel injectors are worn out. There is a little flapper door inside of them which controls fuel flow, if those are so worn they arent stopping the fuel, you will have this problem. Or your tps or w/e is way out of wack.
Adjust the idle so its at like 800. Then use that little screw (i think its a screw) to adjust the idle richness. That may also solve your problem.

You could try some starting fluid, My car would not start one time, tried everyday for a week finally i had to pump in some starting fluid, borrow a good fully charged batt and crank the **** out of it, your fuel pump is prob pumping tons of gas into the motor or since your batt is so low your not turning it over fast enough. You could also go out there and install a fuel cut switch, shoulld not take you to long and will help anytime you flood the thing,
Also if you have changed to all BUR9EQS you could take some BUR7EQS with you to put into the top plug hole, The hotter plugs should help you start it up, most people do this on new engine start ups.

i have a fuel pump switch too.
TPS is set.

Well, I don't really have a definitive answer, but this is what i would do. I would do the unflood method first, using your fuel cut switch also, get as much fuel out as possible, squirt some oil in the trailing plug holes, remove the ground and make sure vacumn hose are all secure reconnect the ground, (to reset computer) and give it a go. Best i could come up with. Hope it helps.

****, i forgot to reset the computer while i was dealing with all this madness tonight... cause i had the spark plugs out of the holes turning the rotors, i'm sure the ecu is like, '**** my ***, whats going on here'
it is a good possibility that resetting the cu may help something.
all i know is if i had the fuel pump turned on, this bitch is running way rich.
this bitch is richer than bill gates

Take a friend with you and have him unplug the fuel pump by unplugging it from the connector at the rear shock tower. My old FC flooded very bad once. I had a fuel cut switch and it didnt help. Not even pulling the fuse helped. I unplugged the fuel pump and started cranking the car with the gas pedal all the way down. After lots of cranking, it finally started up real rough. My friend plugged in the fuel pump once it started and I was good to go. This happened 2 times while I owned that car. Oil in the chambers will help you out alot.

Go get some NEW plugs and get it pull started. The plugs you are using may be so fouled they just need to be replaced. Also if you did have all 9's put the 7's and 9's back in for now.

This caught my eye...........*.i had it running before i pulled the plugs. it was very quiet, running so rich that it was smoking, and idling perfectly and wouldnt rev because there was barely enough power to keep the car running... *
So it was idling. Idling good. And you step on the pedal and the engine does not rev????????? I've seen that symptom when a tps went **** up so to speak. Disconnected the tps plug and then the engine would rev, so I drove it home. Found the tps plunger was sticking internally. The outer part was moving in and out, but the internal was not.
Disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU.....sorry, it does not work like that on a series four.
I would turn the fuel cut sw to off. TAke the lower plugs out and whip the engine over for fifteen to thirty seconds. REinstall plugs. Spray starter fluid in the snorkel before the air filter for three or four seconds. Start the car. Should rev and then die. Repeat this for three times or so. Spray one more time. AS soon as the engine starts, flip the fuel cut switch to on.
And for people trying to help CARTMILL......Please note he has a WAldo fuel pump that is making his car run rich. Its overwhelming his fpr.
