Yeah, thats because physics at that small of a level is much different than if a human were to strap wings on it. Scientific American had an article about how bees fly about a year ago. Weren't you told not to touch a hot stove when you were a kid? You know now you can touch the handle. I'm sure the real lesson of the class was learned, but you left that part out (how the bee flies)

Just a thought guys, do you know that one time a class of aeronautical engineering students were given all the technical specs of a bumble-bee, weight to mass ratio, wing surface area, wing span and all that tech ****.
The whole class without exception proved without a shadow of a doubt that something with those specifications could not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES fly! They were then taken outside and shown the thing they had just proved could not fly buzzing around.
Think about it.

WTF? Have you even read this thread dude?

Isaac
Does anyone else find this comment absurd. Of course I've read the thread. I have posted several times, taken great flack for my zealous defense of PK, and now for responding to what I viewed as a misuse of my comments. So, Isaac: WTF, have you even read this thread dude? Actually, I think it likely you have, since you have posted numerous times yourself. I understand if you have ignored my novel sized posts, I probably would too if I had not phillosophical interests.

Your last post before this one pretty much made no sense. Maybe you should read it again?

Peacekeepers efforts have provided information which confirms previous knowledge, therefor, he was successful. The knowledge confirmed is this: Do not leave your toys where others may play with them if you do not want to risk them being damaged. Look for the benefit of every situation.

Isaac, It is unfortunate you lack the neccessary background to comprehend my post. It is also unfortunate that I lack the neccessary skill to make myself understood by you. Take care. I mean no insult. My next stop is to delete my subscription to this thread. I do not believe I will gain any further knowledge or entertainment from it. Thank you, everyone, for tolerating the rantings of this arogant zealot.

You're not Socrates dude, so lay off all the fancy words. All you manage to do is speak in riddles. It was kinda funy how you said "I mean no insult" and then you called me an "arogant zealot". Whatever the hell that is, either way you are entertaining because I think even you don't understand half the **** you say.

Keep it up,
Isaac

hey peacekeeper , dont give up first of all let me be the first to admit that i am not the sharpest tool in the shed and i dont type or spel two goud either, but i usedto for i *** here. now that i have beat everyone else to bashing me i was reading what you said and i was thinking if you put the pump in line it would work better. have the in line going to the air filter and the outlet to the intake , that way you dont have to worry about any angles and the output would go directly to the intake. see what i mean ,all the air that goes into the engine HAS to go through the pump first then discharged into the intake. now while you have it all torn down think about a way of cooling the the air that is being discharged into the engine. cooler air = more density. well that is my 2cents and no flames or bashing to or about your ideas. peace ex...

You should be more careful when reading posts. The comment was directed at himself. And buy a dictionary...

I think if I read another one of these threads, I'm going to forget my automotive knowledge due to some of the sheer stupidity sapping my brain cells away...

Ok, this will be my ONLY post to this thread. I just read the whole friggin' thing because I was hoping to find out about modding my air pump because I had the same exact idea this afternoon. Because of this thread, I have decided just to remove the thing and save the parasidic loss. That being said, I would like to thank Peacekeeper and Kristopher and eveyone else who isn't an idiot for actually trying something new.
