Umm... Ghetto Mods...
Ok.. so will this work for me:
(my car is an 89 GX)
Series5 13BT with N/A flywheel bolted on
High Performance clutch
N/A starter
N/A drivetrain... (yes, yes, I know... its gonna blow up etc...)
Other than the potential driveline problems, will this work?

You have to match the counterwight in/on the flywheel to the front weight and the rotating assembly (rotors.)
Doing what you want it would probably be easiest to get aftermarket NA flywheel (no counter weight) and use the correct automatic transmission counterweight (this is what aftermarket flywheels are made to use) for the year TII engine you use. Ian

What about ECU? Stock NA won't work. Wiring harness? Fuel Pump? Exhaust?

Yep, agreed with Silkworm - how does the ECU know it's a turbo'd motor?  I hope you don't assume your stock NA engine harness and ECU is going to control the 13BT...
You'll need at least a 13BT engine harness and ECU.  The fuel capacities of the 13BT engine is a lot higher than the NA system - you'll need and upgrade fuel pump, or the whole thing is going to lean out int he first run.

yeah... yeah... sorry I left those out.... but I was planning on including those... The main reason I was asking was in regards to the whole using a N/A flywheel, starter, and tranny (guess I shoulda specified, eh?)
Thanks Guys!

balance
The NA sized clutch will probably crap out on you, but you mainly have to worry about balance. It seems from research that 86-88 13b's were balanced the same, and 89+ were balanced the same. Call a shop that sells counterweights to double check.
You'd have to have at least the series 5 flywheel if all this data sorts out. Series 4 or earlier 13B NA flywheel FOR CERTAIN won't be balanced on that motor.
I had talked to several shops that had swapped NA>Turbo rear balance parts this way, and keeping with the year break, 86-88 and 89+ they had no problems. YMMV

cool.... I was planning on getting a S5 engine...
I was thinking that a high-performance N/A clutch would be less likely to crap out on me, is this a safe assumption?

The NA and TII flywheel balances the same for the same years. 86-88 NA and 87-88 TII balance the same, and 89-91 NA and 89-91 TII balance the same. (so do 13BREW for that matter.)
