Uim/Lim coolant?

I recently got a leak in a coolant hose somewhere. It is throwing water everywhere in the back of the motor which leads me to believe it is a hose somewhere underneath the intake manifolds. What if any hoses potentially have the problem in there? im hoping to knock this problem out in a day.

there is a 90 degree rubber hose from the rear side housing to the back of the throttlebody. This can go, and so do the heater hoses. All of these should be replaced with OEM hoses from Mazdatrix or a dealership or whatever

You can replace the rear hose on the iron/thermowax without taking off the UIM, but it's very hard to reach the connection on the rear iron. You'll be reaching blindly since it'll be covered by the UIM.

just buy the gasket for the UIM and pull the UIM. Save your self the grief and agony. I would also replace/clean my injectors while i could easily get to them

that hose from the rear iron to the TB is hard enough to install with the UIM removed. It took me about two hours to figure out the trick. I would be really, really impressed if somebody pulled that off and installed a new one securely with the UIM still on.

alright bad news. That hose appears to be fine, but now that i can finally get underneath the car I can see that something bad is brewing. I took a pic but i dont have any way of uploading it here at my friends house so ill search and see if i can get one later.

It appears to be leaking from a screw on either the rear housing or endplate almost right between the tranny and oil pan. What could this be? Ill try to get a pic or similar one if possible.

Please rotary gods, this is my hour of need.

Alright I think this is an accurate representation of the area that is leaking. what could it be? The screw I have circled is for reference. it seems to be coming somewhere above it.

Is the iron toast?
